Wat het doet
What it does
Thuis haalt je energiegegevens op uit je eigen Home Assistant en toont ze in een overzichtelijk dashboard. Beschikbaar voor iOS en Android. De app draait volledig op jouw gegevens en diensten — er zit geen account of cloud van ons tussen.
Thuis fetches your energy data from your own Home Assistant and shows it in a clear dashboard. Available for iOS and Android. The app runs entirely on your own data and services — there's no account or cloud of ours in between.

Getting started
- Open de instellingen in de app.
- Vul het adres van je Home Assistant in — lokaal
(bijv.
homeassistant.local:8123) of extern via Nabu Casa (https://….ui.nabu.casa). - Maak in Home Assistant een long-lived access token aan (profiel → onderaan) en plak die in de app.
- Optioneel: vul je PlugChoice-token in om de status van je laadpaal te zien en het laden te besturen.
- Tik op Verbinden.
- Open the settings in the app.
- Enter the address of your Home Assistant — local
(e.g.
homeassistant.local:8123) or remote via Nabu Casa (https://….ui.nabu.casa). - In Home Assistant, create a long-lived access token (profile → at the bottom) and paste it into the app.
- Optional: enter your PlugChoice token to see the status of your charger and control charging.
- Tap Connect.

Home Assistant & PlugChoice
Thuis bouwt voort op twee diensten die je zelf beheert:
Thuis builds on two services that you manage yourself:
- Home Assistant — het open-source platform voor woningautomatisering. Hieruit haalt Thuis al je energiegegevens: zonopbrengst, netverbruik, teruglevering en gas.
- PlugChoice — het laadplatform achter veel slimme laadpalen. Thuis gebruikt PlugChoice voor de live gegevens van je laadpaal (laadstatus, actueel vermogen en het verloop van je laadsessies) én om het laden te besturen: starten, stoppen en de laadlimiet instellen.
- Home Assistant — the open-source home automation platform. This is where Thuis gets all your energy data: solar production, grid usage, feed-in and gas.
- PlugChoice — the charging platform behind many smart chargers. Thuis uses PlugChoice for the live data of your charger (charging status, current power and the history of your charging sessions) and to control charging: start, stop and set the charge limit.
Beide koppelingen zijn optioneel; je tokens blijven op je eigen toestel.
Both connections are optional; your tokens stay on your own device.

Thuis leest standaard energie-entiteiten uit Home Assistant. Deze koppelingen vullen het dashboard:
Thuis reads standard energy entities from Home Assistant. These integrations populate the dashboard:
- Een P1-meter — voor net, verbruik, teruglevering en gas. Getest met de HomeWizard P1-meter.
- Een zonnepanelen-integratie — voor actueel zonvermogen en opbrengst.
- Forecast.Solar — voor de zonprognose van vandaag en morgen.
- Een weer-integratie — voor de buitentemperatuur (bijv. Met.no of KNMI).
- Een thermostaat of warmtepomp (climate) — voor de binnentemperatuur.
- Optioneel: Electricity Maps — voor het fossiele aandeel van het net.
- A P1 meter — for grid, usage, feed-in and gas. Tested with the HomeWizard P1 meter.
- A solar panel integration — for current solar power and production.
- Forecast.Solar — for the solar forecast for today and tomorrow.
- A weather integration — for the outdoor temperature (e.g. Met.no or KNMI).
- A thermostat or heat pump (climate) — for the indoor temperature.
- Optional: Electricity Maps — for the fossil share of the grid.
Wijken de entiteitsnamen af? Pas ze aan onder Instellingen → Geavanceerd.
Do the entity names differ? Change them under Settings → Advanced.
Privacy
Thuis verzamelt geen gegevens en bevat geen tracking of advertenties. Je adres en tokens blijven versleuteld op je eigen toestel en de app praat alleen met de diensten die je zelf instelt.
Thuis collects no data and contains no tracking or ads. Your address and tokens stay encrypted on your own device, and the app only talks to the services you set up yourself.
